We are a community-rooted charity dedicated to empowering people from ethnic minority backgrounds who live and work in the City of Edinburgh, Midlothian, and East Lothian. Our goal is to ensure everyone has equal access to essential services, rights, and opportunities—regardless of language, background, or circumstance.

We offer free, confidential, and culturally sensitive advice and support in areas such as welfare rights, income maximisation, debt and money management, and signposting to other local services. By working in partnership with individuals, families, and communities, we help people navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive.

Our Mission

To promote equality, dignity, and well-being by providing high-quality, accessible advice and support to ethnic minority communities across Edinburgh and the Lothians. We strive to empower individuals to make informed decisions, claim their rights, and live independently and confidently in Scotland.

Our Vison

A fair and inclusive society where people from all ethnic backgrounds are respected, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential—free from discrimination, disadvantage, or social exclusion.

Empowering Ethnic Communities in Edinburgh

We provide essential welfare and debt advice for ethnic individuals living and working in Edinburgh, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive in their community.

In the background, a large stone building with gothic-style windows can be seen, suggesting an old-style architectural design. A figure in the background appears to be tending to the garden or performing some task near the building.
